We provide adult companion services to a person age 18 or older with non-medical care, supervision, and socialization. These services help persons work toward a therapeutic or community integration goals that are in their support plan. Some of the support services that our staff will provide will include the following:
- Attending a movie with the person (s) to practice coping skills to manage their social anxiety
- Going with the person (s) to a community event to reduce their social isolation
- Playing board games with the person (s) to enhance their fine motor skills
- Providing verbal instructions or cues to the person (s) to help them complete a task
- Accompanying the person (s) to church and other religious events of their choice
- Assisting or supervising the person (s) with tasks, such as laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and to practice budgeting skills.
